PROLOGUE

My adventure is about to begin.

In this channel “Trip to Japan with Me”, I would like to bring you to my favorite places in Japan and show you what it’s like and talk about the history, culture, and more.

Before getting down to business, let me talk a little bit about myself. I was born and raised here in Japan, but I spent my youth and early adulthood in a handful of different countries. I’ve traveled all of the 7 continents and saw the world outside this relatively small island nation.

Coming back here, what I can say is that Japan is an awesome place. Some things are obvious, like we offer the world’s best sushi, and others are more subtle, like people don’t try to interact with strangers, but they are delighted to help when asked for it.

In the videos that follow, I’m hoping to take you on a virtual tour of Japan and introduce you to the greatness of it in both obvious and subtle ways.
